Thursday

So much fun on the trail run! Luckily we had enough snow to follow tracks for anyone losing contact with the group;-)

Tomorrow we'll be outside for a short run to start then back in for strength.

We will be done by 5 for everyone not needing skis.

Those students who missed getting fit for skis last week will get fit at the end of practice. PLEASE, PLEASE show up otherwise you won't have skis for the fun ahead!

See everyone tomorrow.

Wednesday Trail Run

We're going to spice things up a bit and go do a trail run.

Students who have roller skis can bring them and ski the paved trail.

We will be heading to the Beaver Island Trail Head located by FedEx on the corner of Clearwater Road and CR 75.

PARENTS WILL DO PICK UP FROM THIS LOCATION at 5!!

Great practice today! So proud of the ladies who literally jumped over barriers tonight:-)

Check emails for Friday, Saturday practice details.

No snow more dryland

So fun to get on the snow this past weekend! Thanks to those who made it out.

If you don't have skis and didn't get fit last Tuesday please make sure Peggy and I are aware so we can get you set up. We'll do classic ski fits a bit later in the season.

Cold and sunny is the forecast for tomorrow. We'll start outside and finish up inside.

We will have practice on Friday morning so mark your calendars and try to set up a ride.
You can also plan on a Saturday morning practice as well.

Not sure on the Spruce Pot count, 30ish, but if you've only sold one or two make a little push so we can wrap it up. Big thanks to everyone out there who have gone above and beyond!!

Snow making starts up this Thursday at Riverside Park. If you have anytime available please contact me. The Central MN Ski Club will be running 24 hour shifts if temps are cold enough.

Monday

Keep pumping out the Spruce Pots! The email update was awesome, 86 to go! Please try and do your part. This helps keep the ski trip cost down, supply the team with skis, Skate and Classic, boots, wax and waxing equipment, uniforms and roller ski supplies as well! The school doesn't provide money for any of these items.

It's a short week but we'll make the most of it. Inside outside again Monday. Temps look like low twenties for the run so bring proper gear. Think about the week ahead. If you're staying close to home there may be options to get skiing Wednesday, Friday or Saturday. We could set up shuttles to go down to Elm.

If you need skis we'll set you up Tuesday after practice:-)

Also, I know snow making operations are starting up Nov 23rd at Riverside. This is a 24 hour operation. Once we start we don't stop for 3-4 days. If you could volunteer time please contact me. The shifts are usually six hours. You move hoses, recover by the Riverside shelter fire for an hour or so than repeat.

Week one was phenomenal! Let's keep it rolling.

Wednesday

Did you sell a Spruce Pot tonight? Make it happen!

Question of the day? Best or current series/movie you're watching on Netflix?

Tomorrow we'll turn it up a bit. Bring your fast shoes;-)

A little thought... you get back what you put into the work out. I don't know your number but you do. Give one more push up, hold that plank a bit tighter, hold a better posture, be strong, it all adds up. When you hit that last hill or enter into a final sprint you'll have the ability to go.

Let's keep the positive energy rolling. Nice work today everyone!

We'll hit the repeat button tomorrow. Chilly run to start. Less wind and more sun it should feel great. After that back inside so pack for both.

Fundraiser Goal.
Try and get 8 Spruce Pot orders.

If you didn't turn in your money today please remember for tomorrow.
